wilderness area

Kafue is alive with an incredible mix of wildlife and birdlife, thanks to its diverse range of habitats throughout this wonderful national park.

In the southern part of the park, vast open plains meet beautiful miombo woodlands and seasonal wetlands, home to roaming lions, leopard, and a rich variety of antelope – including sable, roan, bushbuck, puku, impala, reedbuck, and eland.

ZAMBIA'S wildlife haven, Kafue National Park, is run by African Parks and is relatively unexplored by tourists. We look forward to welcoming you.

MAWIMBI is more than just a safari, it's a return to the soul of Africa.
